About this hack

Pokémon Mirror Gold is a doubles-focused QoL and difficulty hack of HeartGold, built using hg-engine. Most Pokémon gens 1-9 are available throughout the game both in the wild and featured in hand-crafted trainer battles. Weaker Pokémon have received buffs to bring power levels in line and balance things across the board. Many QoL features like not needing HMs, Portable PC, Infinite Rare Candy are present with more being added over time.

This project would not be possible without the community that has built an amazing suite of tools (especially hg-engine). I have called out some specific individuals and groups in the docs but can never really catch everyone.

Expect bugs! Hopefully minor ones but hg-engine is still in development and we're working to get new features added and bugs fixed as we go. In particular there are a few pokemon still missing sprites so they'll appear as bulbasaur for now.
