FAQ

Q: Why doesn’t it work on my emulator/hardware/etc?

A: Too Many Types 2 was developed and tested on mGBA, so that is the only software we can recommend for playing it besides official hardware.

Q: Why isn’t it called 2 Many Types?

A: Searchability, mainly. As well as when saying the game’s name verbally. If you said to someone “I’m playing Two Many Types”, how would they know which game you mean? Verbally, they sound identical.

Q: Why does the audio sometimes pop?

A: Unfortunately, we had to disable our HQ mixer as it was randomly causing crashes when warping sometimes. We tried to keep our song selection safe and not include many with this popping.

Q: Are there any Shiny Locks/Missable Encounters?

A: No shiny locks! We have 4 roaming legendaries which technically are missible if you KO them without catching them.

Q: Are there day/night specific encounters or mechanics? A: Nope! It’s just for show.
