edited up until after vermillion. also realized that fire red and leaf green encounter tables were different lol so thats fixed.
About this hack
a quick little mod with only minor changes. Designed for me personally to replay vanilla leafgreen without hating myself.
At the moment i've done up to the end of Cerulean, and everything else is untouched.
- rival now uses pichu or eevee (whatever you didnt pick).
- trainers tend to be the same level, but if their pokemon should have evolved, they have done so. They also have more variety, and some use hoenn or johto mons.
- boss battles are much tougher.
- a new trainer type, rocket trio, to simulate jessie and james.
- all pokemon will be available -- in kanto, only kanto mon can be found. -- in sevi isles, johto mon can be found. -- takes inspiration from lets go and yellow for encounter tables. all mon are available in the game. -- signs on routes tell you what pokemon can be found in the area.
- starters and babies have 255 catch rate
- badge boosts are disabled because fuck that.
- move tutors are re-usable
- TMs will be available in marts
- items like balls are much cheaper,
- rare candies and elixirs are available in marts.
